AIM: Science of Reading

Pathways to Proficient Reading is designed as a blended learning professional development opportunity introducing the Science of Reading to educators, special educators and reading specialists looking to incorporate evidence-based practices for language and literacy instruction.

Leadership Academy

The Educational Leadership Academy is a program offered by the Secretariat for Evangelization, Education, and Formation, of the Diocese of Allentown, to enhance leadership and inspire individuals to consider a role in school administration. The purpose of the Academy is to provide selected individuals, who are committed to Catholic education in the diocese, with the support needed to further their administrative formation particular to Catholic school in the Diocese of Allentown.

Graduate Psychology and Counseling Degrees Rooted in Faith, Based in Science

Divine Mercy University (DMU) is a Catholic graduate school of psychology and counseling, founded in 1999 as the Institute for the Psychological Sciences. The University is dedicated to the scientific study of psychology with a Catholic understanding of the person, marriage and the family. The University offers a Doctoral (Psy.D.) degree in Clinical Psychology, a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision (CES), a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Psychology and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Counseling and a Spiritual Direction Certificate (SDC).

The Office of Evangelization and Formation is hosting a series of Catholic Educator Retreats. Retreats are open to all Catholic educators, parents, Catechists, Directors of Religious Educators (DRE), Youth Ministers, Catholic teachers teaching in Catholic or Non-Catholic Schools.

Catholic educator retreats offer a unique opportunity for spiritual renewal and professional development. These retreats provide educators with a space to deepen their faith, reflect on their vocation, and connect with colleagues in a supportive environment. Through prayer, workshops, and fellowship, participants strengthen their spiritual and teaching mission, ensuring they are equipped to inspire and guide the students they serve.
